What is the Summer Reading Challenge? 
The Summer Reading Challenge (SRC) is a free incentive program to encourage kids to read June 2 - August 25. The SRC includes many diverse free educational and fun programs including entertainers, storytimes, music art and other fun programming for kids. Click here for a schedule of activities, more will be added throughout the summer.
Who can participate?
Kids 10 and under can join. There are even special prizes for babies & preschoolers when parents read to them. Activities are planned specifically for each age group.
How do I register?
Registration begins May 27, 2009! Drop by the library and fill out a registration form. When you hand it in we'll give you a reading log to write down what you read. Read at least 20 minutes every day and visit the library every week to pick up a special prize.
